First Reading on a Proposed Loan Order Amendment stating that Order No. 2026-0- 11 of the City Council passed February 10, 2026 authorizing a borrowing in the amount of $300,000 for the Electric Vehicle Charging Platform project is hereby amended to increase the authorized borrowing amount for such project to $439,580, which amended order shall read as follows in its entirety: "ORDERED: That the sum of $439,580 is appropriated to pay costs of purchasing a SparkCharge Level 3 mobile electric vehicle charging platform for the police station, including all other costs incidental and related thereto; that to meet this appropriation, the Treasurer, with the approval of the City Manager, is authorized to borrow said amount under and pursuant to M.G.L. c.44, §7(1), or pursuant to any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the City therefor; and that the amount of borrowing authorized by this order shall be reduced by any grant amount received for this purpose."
